TWO-COURSE WEEKDAY LUNCH OFFER AT RESTAURANT DE L'ARCHE
Restaurant de l'Arche is offering a lunchtime summer special throughout the working week.

This stylish Queen Street restaurant is promoting its 2-course lunch, which includes a free glass of wine, for just £9.95 per person.

“This offers excellent value for money, particularly for local businesses who may wish to talk shop or entertain clients over good food,” said Anne Freeman, restaurant owner.

The heart of this stylish restaurant is centred on rustic and classic French cuisine, with innovative and exciting dishes using the very best local and seasonal produce available.

“As Queen Street is so central, it's also an easy venue for city centre workers to reach quickly.”

Although Queen Street runs parallel to the bottom of Milsom Street, it is a world away in character with its charming cobbles and peaceful ambience - the perfect lunchtime break.

O’Leary Walker Wine Tasting......
David O’Leary from the renowned Australian wine producer O’Leary Walker will be here at the Tasting Room on the evening of Friday 8th February.
Based at Leasingham in the Clare Valley, O'Leary Walker is a relatively new winery on the scene which has rapidly gained a reputation for producing award winning regional wines at affordable prices.  - this is a wonderful opportunity to meet one of the most progressive winemakers to appear out of Oz.
O'Leary Walker Wines is the culmination of two like minded winemakers that met over twenty years ago. Established in 2001 by David O'Leary and Nick Walker, their philosophy is pretty simple, source the best grapes from the best vineyard sites and craft great wine.
David graduated from Roseworthy Agricultural College in 1980. He spent a year in Tasmania working for Heemskerk Wines before joining Chateau Reynella in 1981. He was appointed group red winemaker for Hardy's in 1990 and held that role until joining Mildara Blass in 1994.
At Mildara Blass, he held senior winemaking roles at Quelltaller Estate in the Clare Valley where he launched Annies Lane and at Mildara's Coonawarra winery. During his time with Hardy's and Mildara Blass, he also made wine in France and California.
David has achieved considerable in his twenty years of making wine. A Jimmy Watson Trophy in 1988 and twice International Red Winemaker of The Year (1992 and 1994) sit proudly along with numerous other trophies and gold medals. Recent awards include a Trophy for the 2006 Polish Hill River Riesling at International Wine Challenge 2007.
We currently list a number of wines from their portfolio (click here)but will be showing a more extensive range to taste on the evening of Friday 8th, commencing at 5pm until 7.30pm. This tasting is priced at  £10 a ticket. So if you are interested in meeting the winemaker and tasting his excellent range then please contact us to book a place 01225 463 392 – info@tastingroom.co.uk
